Downtown Nashville is filled with locally-owned businesses you won’t find anywhere else.

No trip to Brown County is complete without exploring Brown County State Park Nature Center and the surrounding state park.
Brown County State Park is Indiana’s largest state park, covering nearly 16,000 acres of forests, scenic overlooks, hiking trails, mountain biking routes, and winding roads that are especially beautiful during autumn. Popular overlooks like Hesitation Point and Inspiration Point provide some of the best views in the state.
If you’ve always wanted to experience Brown County on horseback, book a guided trail ride with Brown County Saddle Barn. Their seasonal rides offer a unique way to explore the park’s beautiful landscape.

Beyond the incredible restaurant and cocktails, Hard Truth offers guided distillery tours where you’ll learn how their award-winning spirits are produced before enjoying a tasting. It’s one of the most popular experiences in Brown County and highly recommended for bourbon and whiskey lovers. Community recommendations frequently mention the tours as a highlight of visiting the area. We loved the ATV Adventure Tour, the Inside the Barrel Tour, and the Mixology Class.
